Independent game studio · Clerkenwell, London

We forge worlds worth getting lost in.

BlazeChampionForge is a Clerkenwell game studio that charts original worlds from first sketch to launch day. We build in Unreal and Unity, obsess over feel, and treat every map as a place players will remember.

What we build

Expeditions we lead

Whether you arrive with a napkin sketch or a green-lit slate, we plot the route and build it with you — no handoffs to nowhere.

End-to-end development for original IP and licensed titles across PC, console, and mobile. A dedicated pod of designers, engineers, and artists takes your vision from vertical slice to a shipped, certified build — with milestone reviews every six weeks.

Fast, playable prototypes that prove the core loop before you commit a budget. You leave the sprint with a hands-on build, a tech-risk report, and an honest scoping estimate you can take to a publisher or board.

Lore bibles, branching quest systems, and character voice that hold together across DLC and sequels. Our writers and systems designers work side by side so story and mechanics reinforce each other instead of fighting.

Seasonal content, balance passes, and telemetry-driven updates that keep a community coming back. We run event calendars, A/B test economies, and firefight day-one issues so your team can breathe after launch.

We move finished titles to new platforms and shepherd them through first-party certification. Frame-rate targets, TRC/XR compliance, and controller and accessibility passes are handled by engineers who have shipped there before.

The cartographers

The people at the drafting table

A senior crew of eighteen, small enough to stay opinionated and large enough to ship.

Marlowe Ashcroft

Studio Director & Creative Lead

Shipped four console titles before founding the studio in 2016. Marlowe keeps the compass pointed at the player and guards the fun in every review.

Priya Raghunathan

Technical Director

Fifteen years across Unreal and bespoke engines. Priya owns the tech roadmap, performance budgets, and the pipeline that keeps builds green.

Tobias Lindqvist

Art Director

From concept boards to final lighting, Tobias sets the visual language. He treats every level like a map that has to read at a glance.

Amara Okonkwo

Lead Narrative Designer

Amara writes worlds that survive contact with players — branching quests, faction politics, and dialogue that stays in character across a hundred hours.

Lead Systems Designer

Economies, progression, and combat math are Devon’s craft. He tunes the numbers until the loop feels inevitable rather than engineered.

What partners say

Studios, publishers, and founders who have walked a project with us.

They turned a vague pitch into a vertical slice in five weeks. When we walked it into our publisher meeting, the funding conversation basically finished itself.
Eleanor V.Bristol, UK · March 2025
The live-ops team caught a broken economy on launch night and had a balanced hotfix out before our morning stand-up. Retention actually climbed that week.
Rajesh M.Manchester, UK · November 2024
Our Switch port had failed certification twice with another vendor. BlazeChampionForge passed it first attempt and improved the frame rate on top.
Sofia B.Dublin, IE · August 2024
The narrative work is what sold me. Their quest branching held together across two DLC packs without a single continuity note from our side.
